Walking with God - John Eldredge
Eldredge teaches Christians like you and me what it means to live in intimate relationship with God , hence the title ‘Walking with God . It is written in a journal format giving the reader a chance to delve Eldredge's own life, one that is busy, hectic even but Christ centered. He really want us to enjoy conversational intimacy with God. He says “Really now if you knew you had the opportunity to develop a conversational intimacy with the wisest, kindest, most generous and seasoned person in the world, wouldn't it make sense to spend your time with them, as opposed to, say, slogging your way through on your own?” "I like this book mainly because the blog style – it just made it so much easier to read, understand and make sense of me as a Christian. It's hardly heavy in terms of theology, in fact it's quite an easy read but not one you can really take lightly. There numerous times to stop, think and pray through a lot of his experiences that you could probably relate to. Quite simply, Eldredge's simplicity makes god accessible and just right at hand, listening, waiting and ready for us to ask. ' - Ange Allen
